Dr. Emily's behavioral parent training program, a therapy she has offered families for many years, has been rebranded as The Parent Steps Program. The same research-backed approach is now organized into six clear steps and offered as a monthly concierge membership by telehealth to families anywhere in Florida with children ages 4–10.

We are celebrating two years open this month! Dr. Emily celebrated this milestone by hosting the second annual anniversary dinner with family.
We are so happy to have met so many wonderful families along the way. In the last two years, we’ve reached 191 families and held 1381 appointments.

Dr. Emily recently was married and is now going by Dr. Emily Gault. As she transitions to her new last name you may see some documentation in insurance portals or on licensing portals still refer to her as Dr. Robertson. We anticipate all documentation will be consistent by end of Feb 2025 as all the different portals and systems get updated.

Dr. Emily presented a talk titled “Beyond the Research: Addressing the Disconnect Between Behavioral Parent Training and Clinical Practice” at the Parenting and Families Special Interest Group during the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies annual conference.
We are relocating to a new physical office space in Sarasota, FL. Stay tuned for more information on comprehensive assessments and in-person therapy that will be offered.
We are celebrating our 1 year of being open! We are so grateful to the wonderful families we’ve met along the way. In 12 months, we’ve reached 138 families and held 737 appointments.
Dr. Emily celebrated this milestone by hosting the first annual anniversary dinner with family.
We are pausing our comprehensive evaluation service in order to be able to provide therapeutic services to more families at a given time. We will be reinstating this evaluation service in the fall 2024.
We are excited to share that in our first 6 months of being open, we have held 413 consultations and ongoing appointments and reached 97 families.
Dr. Emily’s article titled “Aggressive Children Need Parent-Focused Interventions: Why aren’t more families referred to this type of therapy?” was published in Psychology Today.
